GAMELEGACIES DIABLO II PATCH 1.10 SECTION

PATCH 1.10 is HERE

 WELL, AT LAST IN 2 YEARS OF ANTICIPATION. PATCH 1.10 RELEASED ON THE MEMORIAL DAY OF PC GAMING OCTOBER 29th, 2003.

Why do I hate D2 Ladder system? It cheats us original NORMAL players out of items of the patch 1.10 due to stupid ladder system. Takes up room slots such as "Baal" "Cows" "Free" etc ... and very annoying on how everyone uses ladder due to it being the "new thing" it's hilarious really on how battle.net has failed once again at a patch. Ladder and patch 1.10 at the same time, could give you a migraine seeing how they made D2 so bad. Even after all these months I still hate the patch 1.10 and the ladder system.

Many players were shocked due to the no warning they really had of this coming except for the "RUST STORM" attempting to blow away ITHS/VALORS... which it did! Some are thrilled with the brand new patch! Especially legit players... I admit I always wanted patch 1.10 to make things more legit but not UNFAIR. Here are some listings of problems with Patch 1.10...

1. No DOUBLE MERCENARY FEATURE! :(! Some people thought it would happen, but I knew it would not, just another excuse NOT to enhance the game play.

2. With Iths/Valors gone, Barbarians have been SUFFICIENTLY weakened, Barbarians are now one of the worst dueling classes at this moment, Amazons once again becoming 1st.

3. Amazons' cheap Guided Arrow still remains CHEAP as ever with NO DAMAGE DECREASE or not even BANNING THIS UNFAIR MOVE! Clearly disgraceful.

4. In duels, there is no more Life/Mana leech, Barbarians excel at life/mana leech, Barbarians decreased in their dueling ability greatly with this new term.

5. Cow mode is ruined, you cannot level up anymore, let alone a Barbarian can no longer clear cow mode alone unless he is equipped well and has a few hours to finish the mode on!

6. Single Player is ruined now... It is! Damage decreased, AND I did a test, it took me three minutes to level up my level 1 Barbarian in Patch 1.10 while in 1.09 it took me two minutes! Mind you... The Blood Moor is one of the LEAST monster herding area in Diablo II... and Patch 1.10 put a LOT more in Blood Moor... AND... it takes longer to level up! Sad yes, but why? THEY DECREASE THE EXPERIENCE YOU GAIN! This is by far the worst Patch 1.10 feature for people who try to level up naturally... you really cannot!

7. The majority of people agree that this patch could have merely taken the Iths/Valors out, not done all these TERRIBLE CHANGES, though many legiters are just too thrilled with themselves that they can duel easier now, I think they are semi blinded to how this patch really has destroyed alot of Diablo II game play.

Special Feature here, EVILBRONK IN SECRET COW MODE! On 11/3/03 as I write this whole section

I and an Apprentice Paladin prepare to fight Hell Cows! This is EvilBronk's second cow run since 1.10 came out, he is here to test the grounds.

EvilBronk takes a slight break with his Paladin friend, after it takes ten minutes to merely MINGLE with a herd.

EvilBronk has such GUTS, he even states powerful words with such a powerful herd -_-.

BRONK WHY?! THIS IS TOO UNFAIR FOR YOU TO FIGHT! GET OUT OF THERE!

SUCH PRIDE, SUCH DIGNITY, SUCH COMPASSION FOR THE GAME OF DIABLO II EVEN WITH PATCH 1.10 RUINING GAMEPLAY, BRONK IS TRULY A MAGNIFICENT BEING AND I AM HONORED TO PLAY HIM, AS I CREATED HIM!!! LONG LIVE BRONK AND THE GUILD!

A Druid joins my game, I request his aid to defeat the cows after I took down numerous of their herds.

The Druid and EvilBronk work together very nicely, as EvilBronk goes to the rear and whirlwinds them to death as the Druid in Werewolf form CHOPS THEM WITH POWER!

We defeat the cows, talk, chat and become friends!! Maybe he will join our guild! Also I begin talking about my web domain. Obviously our Druid friend knows all about Sega Genesis!

The Druid requests a duel to test my might, as I easily accept his challenge.

We engaged again, and I won! I talked to him later and we became friends, later then I tested the Dark Wood to see how powerful and frequent the Super Unique Bosses are, and there are like 3-5 in like every stage area.

Haseen and EvilBronk crash down the beasts!

Yes Patch 1.10 is much harder and makes Diablo II quite unfortunately not as pleasant or enjoyable, BUT at least some things still remain... Patch 1.10 is still in my opinion one of the worst patch/upgrades I've ever seen for a PC game. Sigh... but Diablo II is still a great game, even a patch like this cannot break it's greatness! Sigh!...
