The Dark Elves

Dark Elves... the twisted evil counterparts of their former brotherly Elves. Dark Elves actually are not played with much compared to other races, and are claimed to have semi weak units. This is absolutely incorrect, and Dark Elves are my favorite race in the game. Also, I believe Dark Elves just have enough to be the most useful and best race in the game. Yes I know all about that there is not "a best race" out of all the races, but to me there is.

Dark Elves are of the "Evil" alignment. They are fond of evil ways and think only of war, mainly against the Humans and the Elves. They have been known to side with Orcs the most, and often have even manipulated them to do their own bidding. Goblins have also fallen prey to the Dark Elves clever persuasions of joining their ranks for military reasons.

Dark Elves as I explained usually have the support of Orcs, Goblins and sometimes even the Undead! Even WITHOUT the other help from races they are great in their own UNITS, but it just shows how Dark Elves are even greater by being able to persuade other evil races to join them so willingly. It is also well known that Dark Elves... are the superior Evil race.

My Dark Elf Leader Ashram is one of the greatest heroes, if not the greatest hero in all of AoW! Also... my Ashram has a huge adventure that will be explained about on the main page and frame bar, he is FAMOUS *to me* of what he was able to accomplish which will be shared with you in some time. But anyway... Dark Elf Executioners and leaders/heroes are able to learn the attribute "Life Stealing" which many other races cannot LEARN themselves... which makes them even more unstoppable. What is Life Stealing?

This means that if a Dark Elf Hero would hit an enemy for about four HP damage, he would receive 1 HP in Life Stealing, which means he would HEAL every successful melee strike he would land! This is just one of the various reasons Dark Elves are the best race.

Now... onto UNITS!

DARK ELF UNITS

Dark Elves have the great Executioners who are the main fighting force if they have not persuaded Orcs, Goblins or Undead to fight for them. They have stealth and speed who act best in surprise as well, their Shadows are good infantry too with well balanced stats. Incarnates have a better chance at POSSESSING a unit on their side instead of a unit who uses SEDUCE. An interesting part is after the possessed unit is killed, the Incarnate returns to the earth and will try to possess the one who killed it! Dark Elves are the greatest race! There is no question in my mind!

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: MEDIUM

Last Tips: Dark Elves are not easy to use, especially in the beginning of the game. Once they are upgraded and have more income *especially when you get Executioners* then you will see where the Dark Elves can shine. However, even in the beginner ranks Dark Elves can do quite well... but mainly in advanced play is where their power is known.
