Here are some VITAL hints and tips that you will need for Bard's Tale

300 Gold per character made!

This is the ultimate cheat or if you would consider "editing" of getting money. Each character you make will come with 300 gold, now the POOL GOLD feature for any character you have is a great help in general, but you will gain all the gold from each of your party members. For example, you make 6 characters but you are only focusing on getting one a lot of gear and leveling that one up, pool the gold to your main character then disband and delete those 5 other chars. You will have in total 1800 gold!! Repeat to keep getting 1500 more gold, and more and gold forever.

BUY EQUIPMENT IMMEDIATELY

I know it is hard to afford it, but having ANY gear is better than none to get your AC improved and your attack better. This is where Warriors/Hunters are great, you must have good gear to fight against the monsters of this game. Monsters are quite tough to be frankly honest with you, a bit too tough in the beginning!

DO NOT WANDER FAR BEFORE LEVEL 4-5

The fact is, Bard's Tale has enough monsters in the town area where you start out, do not venture too far into the other portions of the town and other lands before level 4-5, or before you are well equipped due to the danger. Not to mention it is easy getting lost, and monsters are all over that can just ambush you out of nowhere!
