FAQ

Greetings Paulos!
Good day!
Beyond Oasis, what is it?
Beyond Oasis is a magnificent game like Light Crusader and Landstalker for the Sega Genesis that was created in 1995, right after PS IV had come out!
What is it about?
You play Prince Ali, of a desert like kingdom area who has in the beginning his dagger that he uses throughout the whole game. In one of his many excavations, he discovers a golden armlet of incredible power that holds a legacy beyond mortal reach. The spirit of the golden armlet explains to Ali the situation that another armlet exists, the silver armlet, which was once used by an evil Sorcerer as the golden armlet was once used by a good Sorcerer, as they battled long ago only to both be destroyed and the armlets were lost forever. It is now up to Ali to not only find who has the Silver Armlet, defeat monsters, but to gather the four spirits that the armlet can summon. The game... is quite complex and very fun.
Yet it is not a best game of all time?
Landstalker and Light Crusader best it in adventure and fun believe it or not, for Beyond Oasis can get choring after a little while. The leveling up system is rather weak, due to you needing to find a HEART item to increase your life by 2. Though Light Crusader and Landstalker have similar gameplay, they best Beyond Oasis just a bit.
Just a bit? Where would Beyond Oasis be if it was on the top 100 best games list?
In the late 50s no doubt!
Game difficult you say?
It can get difficult, especially to improve and sometimes use Ali with his complex moves. Also... weapons break so easily, you can barely use a sword for long that you have to rely on his short range dagger that can never break. However... the Omega Sword can be gained by defeating the monster at level 99+ in the deep dungeon.
Is this game worth buying and worth playing?
MOST DEFINITELY, one of the classics of all time and one of the best action rpgs for Sega Genesis. A pity it did not get more recognition, for it is truly a great game.
What to expect from this section?
