Here it is, THE FIGHTER AND THE MAGE SECTION, will explain all about them!

The Mage and Fighter look incredibly cool I should add, and it's easier to level up the Mage than it is to level up the Fighter. Other than that, the Fighter is the best for meleeing, has the best strength and way more A.C. and ability than the Mage ever could have.

What Mages have over Fighters however, is their magic, AND... when Mages get higher level, some of their magic is SO STRONG and powerful it EXECUTES even bosses with only a few turns. Even with Balrog at the end the Mage can destroy him, while the Fighter needs to get up close with all his enemies, you will not really need to MELEE with the Mage unless you run out of MP. That is why I suggest to level up high, and Mages have high HP value like the Fighter which is a surprise.

Overall, the they are both equaled, it just depends on your style on how you want to play to choose who you wish.
