Castle of the Winds II's Legacy

Does CoW2, the game that possibly begun Windows gaming, or gave enough insight to realize the possibilities have a legacy? You bet it does!

It all started with CoW, the game where you start off being in town after some jobs... it is your eighteenth birthday. Your godparents live in a farm a few miles from the village, who you have lived with your whole life. However, as you approach your house... you see it burned down, along with your godparents dead! They were murdered, and your father's amulet, which is said to have ancient power, has been taken as well.

Tracks indicate bandits going to the northern pass... and you decide to follow them!

After CoW, starting out on CoW2, you start out in the large kingdom that the Jarl manages.

Plenty of shops to go to, weapons, armors, items, accessories and way more!!!

In regards to where CoW2's legacy is cemented other than helping to start PC gaming on Windows and it's credibility, it's how it did so much in 1993. A spectacular ending, numerous bosses and alot of fun level gain... CoW2 is a legacy to be cherished and forever remembered.
