The possibility of me ruling the American Country: the world was ruined up real bad  due to new technology and quarelling politicians..., all  civilizations lost most of their power due to immense wars and also lost just about all technology, as the year was placed back into 4,000 B.C., as the entire 
world's shape, even the lands were ripped up and completely reorganized due to the titantic wars... however the Americans still lived while with only 10,000 people left... one man emerged to lead them, Paulos Hunter Blade... now it's up to Paulos to re-establish America...

Civilization II is a game of great reknown, full of information about civilizations that existed and how they built into the world. Also, there is tons of information about ancient wonders, including information and values all about the technologies of the very world your civilization shall research!

An example, one of the earliest researched technologies known to man, POTTERY! Numerous technologies to research, it gives you a fine feeling of imagination and creativity to decide what gets done and what does NOT get done.

There's even the government system, with many governments to research! All civilizations start out as a Despotism however in Civilization II, only to progress forward into a better one such as Monarchy, The Republic and Democracy!

Civilization II can also have DEVASTATING wars between all your enemies, and you can make alliances as well! Beware, the game can be QUITE DIFFICULT at times! Other than that, it's great!

Tons of things to do, enjoy Civilization II... and one more thing, CIVILIZATION II IS THE 36th BEST GAME OF ALL TIME!

Now ah, though there are no severe scenes of war and upgrading things, Civilization II is like a history lesson, very well built, it contains a solid interface of gameplay and is the best EMPIRE builder when it comes to doing it the way things were once really done by all the Civilizations... it is unmatchable in that aspect. Be one of the many Civilizations of the WORLD itself and build your CIVILIZATION to it's greatness! Be the leader of your empire... BUILD A NATION with many government types, make numerous cities, make allies, make enemies, and more!!
