Weapons
The weapons in D&D are interesting, for the ENHANCEMENTS of the original weapons are by 1+s, 2+s, and 3+s! Here are the basic Weapons in D&D.
You mainly will get your
weapons from the Weapon Shop in town! During your questing they will gain more
wares for you to buy, but in the beginning they are not highly stocked.
Staff-Good
for Magic-Users, they can get in a few good whacks!
Dagger-Daggers
are minimal damage items but they can do some damage!
Spear-Spears
can have some good damage, and I have noticed Spears hit alot!
War
Hammer- War Hammers are GREAT damage, though they miss alot they are
very effective. I like my Dwarves using these!
Sword-
Sword, possibly the best overall balanced weapon, hits enough, hits hard enough
for all measures and monsters. Sword, probably the best weapon.
Axe-
Possibly second best weapon, though does not hit as much as Sword, and hits more
than the War Hammer, it has a well balanced damage usually when it hits! I like
Axes.
Mace-
Maces are mainly for Clerics, but I find Maces are overall a VERY good weapon.
It not only does hit alot, but it deals some pretty good damage.
Sling-
Slings are underrated, slings hit more than bows and shoot faster and can gain
you levels very quickly in cave mode!
Bow-
Bows hit harder than Slings but miss more. Slings are still better than Bows
however, and Bows/Slings are the only weapons that have Range.
