My Ideas on Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

Welcome to my idea page. What is this section dedicated about? About what I think should be changed on further patches on Diablo II battle.net.

RUMOR...

Not exactly even a rumor, it is clear that cowing is going to be VASTLY degraded in patch 1.10. Why? Because Battle.net gets e-mail from players everyday who cry about experience leechers and those who herd cows near other players.

Not even just that, the DEGRADE itself is if a character <Such as BronkBarbarian> would enter the Secret Cow Portal in Hell difficulty, and then exit the game and enter a new game, and try to enter another Cow Portal, he would be unable to enter it. The main change is that a character is only going to be able to enter cow mode ONCE, and once you're done... that's it! It's over, cows are just about dead in patch 1.10, which takes a lot away from Diablo II multiplayer experience... how?

Many people rely on experience leeching and to get there they need to be RUSHED through, and many other unknown sources complain to battle.net about this as well. Their complaining it going to ruin the game even more for THEM and US, for... when people are unable to access Cow Mode as much, here's what's going to happen.

People play cows mainly for experience leeching. The low levels grow into larger levels from this, and most people who play Diablo have leeched their way to the levels 80+ due to this tactic instead of playing the game. Now... the people say, we must change how people play the game, and it must be more FAIR, therefore they must play the game throughly. I admit, I have liked the fact that people would play the game themselves and ENJOY IT... HOWEVER, that is NOT HOW PEOPLE PLAY GAMES, ESPECIALLY ON A MULTIPLAYER GAME. People want to be known as the best, or want to be a part of the ELITE players, or just be high level to show off. Diablo II does that the best out of almost any multiplayer game I've ever seen, how you can become a level 70+ in a day by leeching cows is amazing.

Thought I was done? NO! Also, if the vast majority of people are unable to do what they wish, they will either buy their accounts off Ebay which is very pricey, or most of the players will just never play battle.net again. Battle.net fails to realize what they are doing, they will lose the popularity of one of their best selling games for MULTIPLAYER use, perhaps this is what they want. This is JUST COW MODE, there are many other unfair attributes and modifications they have done with the patch 1.10.

Ahem! After Patch 1.10, Diablo II multiplayer closed realms are going to be small communities of elite players who are either junkies, serious players, or just those "people" who complain to battle.net... whom will later realize it was a bad idea to complain.

Did I mention the fact that MF Sorceresses and MF Barbarians use Cow Level for finding Unique items and more? Taking Cow level away also creates a new problem, a shortage of items due to the fact that they will not be able to find items as easy with cows being basically GONE.

That's enough cows... soon you're all gonna be dead forever... Yup... when Patch 1.10 comes out, it's all over.

When Patch 1.10 does come out, they claim that all "Ith" weapon will be taken off of their servers AND the accounts who hold them will be PERMANENTLY deleted. I believe Ith weapons, despite being a hack... are a big help to the gameplay of Diablo II. Swords are said to be the best weapon, but other than Cruel Colossus Blades <Which there are not many, and not enough for most Barbarian players to get> and including the Grandfather Blade which actually does not have enough minimum damage, because most Barbarians fight with one handed with their sword. I think Ith weapons should be the only hacked weapon that should be allowed, if Battle.net takes off Ith Blades and Ith weapons, there will be just a new form of hacked material. ALSO, with Battle.net destroying cow mode, and all the terrible modifications such as monsters having double hit points and it being DOUBLE as hard to find Unique items for MFers, hackers will be MORE ACTIVE AND WILL TRY TO CRASH SERVERS more as they did back in July.

Do I support Ith swords? I support people having a good time as long as it's not too unfair, Ith swords aren't the worst hack that could be done, for there could be way worse. Therefore, yes I support them! LET THE ITH SWORDS BE SPARED, THEY ARE ANOTHER SOURCE OF COWING! ... unless, this is how Battle.net wishes to end cow mode, destroying every SOURCE. I told you, they will ruin people's best interests of this game, and especially beginner players who will have a much tougher time playing. This is not a fair thing, but I believe somehow... we will play through this terrible patch!

When Patch 1.10 does come out, I will have a whole new section explaining my experiences of it, how bad it is, what it has done, and how other players I have met react to it. Also... onto the last thing.

Although it will probably never happen, I believe battle.net should give you a double mercenary feature. Even with Patch 1.10 being bad or good, I believe they should. Battle.net quotes "We wish to enhance the gameplay" then enhance it in good ways, do not LIMIT PLAYERS OF THAT THEY WISH TO DO, THE EXCEPTION IS HACKING HOWEVER, NOT GAINING A LOT OF EXPERIENCE. THIS IS NOT FAIR TO PLAYERS AND IT WILL DEGRADE DIABLO II, don't agree with me? Don't BELIEVE me? It's official news at other Diablo II websites, and you'll see when the Patch comes out...

One last note, two mercenaries would make the game more fun, it is hard to choose from each mercenary of which one you would like to have. I am not saying to give the mercenaries smarter AI, more equipment, more strength, I am asking that you allow them to have two. Now... battle.net... wouldn't that "ENHANCE" the gameplay?

I failed to mention one last thing... I believe in the "Circle of Cow Level Life" ... for example, the high levels fight cows, the low levels MAKE the cow level and leech... to become high levels and then to level up low levelers... don't that sound like something nice for Diablo II players? And Battle.net is taking that away from us... we will get through this, I state this officially.
