Old Dragon Raja News

What is this section about? Simple. On 6/23/05 I thought DR was going to be fully P2P, then E-games announces it was going to be only P2P for people who want to start new accounts. Now I hardly trust their word anymore, but to follow up on all the crazy news I have made the old Dragon Raja News section to look back on information I have posted up about E-games I get from official sources. MIND YOU, some of this information is OUTDATED.

Now E-games says a fee will only exist for people who want to register new accounts, while old P2P and INT people can still play, along with people who registered accounts during the stress test. Insane? Yes I know, but apparently it can still be played for free for those who registered accounts, but don't you worry, I'll have plenty more information... with one thing, I don't trust E-games still for all the insane announcements they declare.

E-Games: Let's say we will make the game f2p to attract more p2p possibilities, what's ANOTHER lie gonna do?!?

"However, we do trust our loyal customers! We believe that they are our best assets and would do their best to play legitimately. As a result, the official Dragon Raja will be released tomorrow at 24th June 2005, but it is only restricted to existing users in version 1.3. All new account registration will be closed at the time being until further notice. The DR server will remain down until the right time to re-launch.

We are in the discussion to impose a small amount of fees in order to create an account to play Dragon Raja. Please don't mistake this as a Pay to Play (P2P) fee, as this fee is only incurred once and will enable the user to play the game without any additional charges after account creation. Existing user that has an account registered in DR will be able to continue their gaming experience without any additional charges.

We also understand about the frustration for some of the International players to purchase DR/EGames points at this moment. Therefore, we will most likely release the public registration after we have confirmed a few of the better and more secured payment gateways for our international subscriber

Translation? E-games trying to sound poetic and literally MESSED up their server not being able to handle FREE TO PLAY, so they are thinking of getting us to pay a P2P FEE! "THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS SUPPORT" not on my watch, and DESTRICTED TO EXISTING USERS OF 1.3... INSANE, STUPIDITY, MALICIOUSNESS... IDIOCY from E-Games. I'm so sorry to you all, but hey at least we got GameAmazon and me to rely on, now you're a little more thankful for me eh? Heh heh. Why did E-Games try to make it F2P if they couldn't handle it? I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! Before I left the DR Forums I posted this "E-games is so stupid, they actually think I'd PAY to play Dragon Raja with players like you! Sure, I get to deal with idiots who I can't understand with their foreign terms, their maliciousness of hacking, then greedy/arrogant stupid pieces of CRAP who treat low levels like pure dirt, so I'm glad it's over. Thank you E-games for closing down DR, so I don't have to deal with these scum anymore, because I admit I love DR so much to play it, just not the players."
