Characters

Ramza Beoulve Hero of the story, to me one of the best warriors legitally. He can be extremely powerful, I have received several reports he can also he a great magic caster, but people refer to him as "The Uber Squire" of the game. Though his main class always remains a Squire, he is a powerful Squire for after his first sprite, he can equip Armors and Knight Swords. He has great HP/PA growth as a Squire, it is best to remain him as a Squire throughout the game. You start out as Ramza and he is your main character, and leader of your group. During the story, he fights against his brothers, finding out that they are engaging a war for their own well being. However, he is one of the few people who know about the greed of the Glabados Church, and their ambition to take over Ilavice. He is also "The True Hero" in the story that Alazlam is trying to rediscover.

Delita Hyral Delita, your childhood friend, who stays with you throughout Chapter 1... he later is discovered in Chapter 2 abducting the Princess attempting to save her from a scheme of Prince Larg. You really got to hate Delita, he thinks the whole world betrayed him in Chapter 1, and he uses people for his own ambitions and needs. He is the "Hero" that everyone knows of in Ivalice... but is this the "Truth"?

Ovelia Atkascha Princess Ovelia, true heir to the throne. In order for Queen Rudelivia to have her son Prince Orinas ascend to the throne, she attempted to have Princess Ovelia abducted. Ovelia has a short stay in your party while you are protecting her, but you lose her a little later on. I don't know why, but I don't like Ovelia, lol.

Alma Beoulve Alma, your sister also closest to age than your brothers. She is always on your side throughout the game, has a short stay in your party in Chapter 3, but it is rather short.

Balbanes Beoulve Your father Balbanes who dies in Chapter 1 due to poisoning, former leader of the Hokuten Knights and achieved the rank of "Heavenly Knight", we all would have wished to see Balbanes in battle... darn. He was said that he matched Orlandu in combat, and while other Knights in the Fifty Year War were being defeated, he produced many victories even when outnumbered. A treaty was reached because of the fear he struck in the heart of his enemies. Balbanes, rest in peace...

Zalbag Beoulve The great Arc Knight Zalbag! Oh we all wished we could have had him in our party, but that is what Gameshark is for. Anyway, Zalbag is your second oldest brother, he has been praised by King Denamunda as "A savior of Ivalice in Gallione. Under the name of Beoulve, there is victory".

Dycedarg Beoulve Your oldest brother, cunning, slick, and one weird beard. I have never really heard anyone ever actually liking Dycedarg, but he has a semi medium part in the story...

Agrias Oaks If Orlandu did not exist, you would think Agrias was a goddess, but I still feel she is. One of the few classes who has Holy Knight, she is one of the knights of the Royal Family who was with Ovelia, as she joins your party later on in Chapter 2... PERMANENTLY! I have made her a master Holy Knight and a master Priest, she can be great using her Sword Skills and White Magic. Agrias Oaks... one of the best chars.

Cidolfas Orlandu Also known as "T.G. Cid" as in Thundergod Cid... he is a god. He is the god of FFT, the only legit character who has the class of Holy Swordsman. Once friends with your father Balbanes, he has some history with Ramza. Also, he was the leader of Prince Goltana's main Knights, and thanks to Delita's scheme is removed from suspicion of starting a rebellion and joins your party in Chapter 4 when you save him. Orlandu is a god, hands down. He is a one man army, I mean there's nothing else really to say,... and he joins your group, PERMANENTLY.

Meliadoul Tingel Temple Knight of the Glabados Church, mistaken in thinking you had killed her brother Izlude, fights you until she realizes after she sees Marquis Elmdor turn into a monster, that you were right and she was wrong. She joins you permanently, and to me, I say is a great character. She is a "Divine Knight".

Olan Durai Olan, adopted son of Cidolfas Orlandu, you save him from a group of thieves in Chapter 2, plays perhaps one of the biggest roles in the story. He is the writer of the Durai Papers that speaks of the True Hero that was Ramza, and was placed into a dungeon of Zeltennia's castle by Delita, by the one man knowing the truth.

Wiegraf Folles I actually placed him in here because he is a good character to have with Gameshark. Wiegraf once led the Death Corps, as when he failed, he joined the Shrine Knights and had Alma taken prisoner by Izlude. He was defeated by Ramza, but his ambition and anger called Velius from the Zodiac Stone "Aries" which turned him into Velius.

Rafa Galathana An orphan of the Fifty Year War, she was raised by Duke Barinten only to discover the truth about him burning their village to inherit their family skills, and joins Ramza at the end of Chapter 3 after saving her and her brother Malak's life. Rafa is better than Malak in skills with her magic power as well, but I say Rafa and Malak are good fighters.

Malak Galathana Like Rafa, an orphan of the Fifty Year War. In the beginning he is an enemy of Ramza, but later becomes an ally and joins your group.

Algus Sadalfas Algus was too noble for his own good! Algus was with you in Chapter 1 until Ramza got angry at him for insulting Delita, which I had no problem with, only was a little too extreme with the noble this, and commoner that talk.

Mustadio Bunanza Mustadio is a good character, and you need him to go to Goug and get the Cloud/ Worker 8 quests. Other than Balk, he is the only other Enginner in the game, and you get him in Chapter 2 permanently.

Vormav Tingel Vormax is head of the Temple Knights of the Murond Glabados Church, Leader of the New Zodiac Braves as well, which High Priest Funeral tried to recreate, but it seems Vormav has his own intentions.
