Secrets

Secrets... phew... secrets of FFT! So many, so little time... just kidding. I want this section to be as in depth as possible, so I'm listing every secret on this whole section! HAR! Enjoy.

I've said this many times, *SPOILER* *SPOILER*!!!!! Before you go to Orbonne to fight the last battle, that is, even if you do that which I suggest only doing it once. So you can adventure the lands for years and years, lvling up your party and killing monsters for as long as time lasts... however, there are many special events that can help your group, assist them such as characters joining your group, and especially Deep Dungeon in the far south... to gain special treasures!!

~Beowulf/Reis/Worker 8~

YOU MUST BE IN CHAPTER 4!

The other requirement is you must have Mustadio, alive!
In order to get these three characters, you must follow these steps...

In Chapter 4, walk to Goug Machine City and watch the Steel Ball scene. Besrodio says the steel baal is not powered. The Aquarius sign is on the surface! Go to Goland Coal City's bar and read about monsters underground, and leave.

Go to Lesalia Castle bar, and meet Beowulf.. He is interested in exploring the
mines, and Ramza may or may not go with him, say "YES" to do it. Once you return to the
world map, Goland Coal City has turned into a red dot, meaning there will be battles ahead, actually many battles. Get ready.

Go to Goland and fight the underground battles, many of them, alot of CHEMISTS!
Eventually, you will have to save Reis a Holy Dragon from the
a Demon and Plagues. You will gain a Zodiac Stone, as then
Reis/Beowulf will join up.

Go to to Goug and you will watch another Steel Ball scene as Ramza uses the Aquarius stone on it.
Worker 8, a large Steel Giant shall join the party, and he is strong if trained long! Get to Zeltennie Castle.

Get to Nelveska Temple area at Zeltenniaby reading the rumor at the city's bar. Despite
the red dot, there shall not be a battle here yet. Go to Zarghisas Trade City, which will be an event to buy Aeris' flower, say Yes and continue on.

Let's get back to Goug Machine City. Besrodio has something special here. This
item has a Cancer sign on it and is called a
Celestial Globe. Go back to Nelveska Temple. The battle will now begin!  Fight Worker 7, another Steel Giant who can be tough with his DEPOSE move! ALSO, this is where you get the Super Javelin and Super Eschuteon by bringing your Move Find ability character with about 4 Jump to get on top of Worker 8's shoulders, and jump up on each column. I highly suggest do not settle for Phoenix Down's, get both powerful items!
Anyway, when Worker 7 is defeated, you will get the Cancer Zodiac Stone.

When you leave a new event appears and Reis shall become a Dragoner, as her human form once again! Interesting enough it says as a "Dragoner" that she is truly a Dragon, odd, yet I guess she's a Human! So, with this... you will have three new characters! Are they good? Not Orlandu/Agrias material, but they are not bad!

~Cloud~

Now... after you have gained Beowulf/Reis and Worker 8, do not worry this event can still occur even if you took them off your team, but you still need Mustadio! You will now go back to Doug, Take the and then Cloud will be summoned from the globe, then he immediately runs off!

Now, you must have killed Adramelk/Dycedarg in Igros to have this next step of the event continue on.
Go to Zarghidas Trade City, there is a scene here of a flower girl being pushed around by a few gruffy men as Cloud saves her but then he is outnumbered. Ramza and his team appears on the scene, save Cloud from the gruffs!! After, Cloud joins your group. Mind you, for him to use his LIMIT skill you must get his Materia Blade at the top of Bervenia Volcano, as usual make your Move Finder go up there with Worker 8 like with the Columns! Is Cloud a good character? Ehh... well, he is good, but his Materia Blade is rather weak against true combat such as Tiamats, well trained Knights/Wizards... and even with Short Charge some of his moves take a while to charge!

~Deep Dungeon~

Deep Dungeon... is not something that should be rushed, there are several stages that have several items that are ... just GODLY for certain classes, such as Mace of Zeus, Robe of Lords, a spare Excalibur even though Orlandu has one, another Save the Queen, a super Ragnarok Knight Blade and.................... CHAOS BLADE, not to mention Grand Helmet/Maximillian and a few powerful shields!

How to access Deep Dungeon? After you are officially prepared to go to Orbonne for the final battle, go to Warjisis and in the bar hear about the mysterious island nearby... then you will be able to access DEEP DUNGEON, however Deep Dungeon is not just a place to gain treasure, it is a Poacher's Paradise where SEVERAL numerous monsters appear in nearly every later stage of Deep Dungeon, and usually they are of higher level than you. I have once fought four Calculators at once in Deep Dungeon! I destroyed them, but I'm just saying! It can get scary!! You need to know where the item spots are actually, and that's no problem! If you ever want to know what panels you need to walk on to gain certain items in the stages, and where the exits to the other maps are just IM ME!
