Super Nintendo
The Super Nintendo-Games: 9- Durability: 6- Fame: 6- Style: 6- Accessories: 7- Grade: B-
Phew... The Super Nintendo,
now it held a lot of games, but a lot of them originated from the Nintendo such
as the Super Mario Games. NOT TO MENTION Super Nintendo holds something else
special in history, it was home of the SUPER GAMEBOY accessory where you could
play your gameboy original games on the TV ITSELF ON THE CONSOLE instead of
having to deal with the gameboy anymore! Despite that, very great games and not
bad durability even though at times you have to LIGHTLY blow on some
cartridges... did not get the fame N64 and NES got due to it's relatively short
stay in the gaming world but we still remember it... especially for it's final
fantasy games.
And now... presenting, the reviews of SUPER NINTENDO GAMES!
The 7th Saga- Fun: 7- Gameplay: 7- Graphics: 5- Value: 6- Sound: 6 Grade: C+
The 7th Saga is one of my favorite SNES games and may become one of yours too.
Choose one of seven warriors that must travel through the entire planet to
discover the powerful seven Runes, once you have these runes you will become the
leader of the world! Fight your rivals and monsters, gain a true ally who will
serve your best interests. The 7th Saga is a worthy game to play, though the
graphics may turn you off at first, the game is overall a bit fun, though the
puzzles and game is HARD.
Chrono Trigger- Fun: 6 - Gameplay: 9 - Graphics: 6 - Value: 3 - Sound: 10 Grade: B-
Now now, don't be annoyed that I only gave the great Chrono Trigger a mere B-.
It has a great battle system, reminds me of Traysia actually... just way more
organized. The graphics were alright, the fun however is a bit complex due to so
many commands that you do not even know of sometimes. I prefer games when they
just state what the options actually are.
Lord of the Rings- Fun: 9 - Gameplay: 5- Graphics: 5- Value: 10- Sound: 10 Grade: B
THE LORD OF THE RINGS FOR SNES!!! You cannot compare them to the newer LOTR
games of course, but you just got to love the fun GROUP system of the game. You
control Frodo directly in the beginning, then begin to get more and more and
even MORE of a group as you progress through the game, they all attack enemies
NATURALLY, so it's quite challenging and FUN!
Shadowrun- Fun: 9- Gameplay: 7- Graphics: 4- Value: 8- Sound: 9 Grade: B+
Shadowrun... "DOOT DOOT DO DOO.... DOON DOON DOON... DOO DOO DOOT DOONnn..."
one of the famous tunes in actual gaming in my opinion, has some of teh
qualities of the Sega Genesis version. While not NEARLY as versatile as it's
sibling or as great, it possesses some of the same elements that Sega's does.
One thing for sure... LOADS of fun.
Star Fox- Fun: 4- Gameplay: 3- Graphics: 2- Value: 2- Sound: 2 Grade: D
Eh..h.... trying EXTREMELY hard not to think about Star Fox 64 when I look over
this game... but it's tough. Star Fox for SNES is just bland and lame, it does
not possess nearly close to all the moves for the Arwing that the 64 has, even
though you can fly around a bit. If you actually even LEARN how to play, overall
it's just... bland, but not the worst game I ever saw.
Super Mario All-Stars- Fun: 8- Gameplay: 8- Graphics: 8- Value: 10- Sound: 8 Grade: A
Being a combination of games, it gets a "Thoughtful Rating" since it
is not an actual GAME. It possesses the cartridges of Super Mario I, II, III,
and "The Lost Levels" which is a nice addition.
Super Mario RPG- Fun: 9- Gameplay: 9- Graphics: 8- Value: 10- Sound: 9 Grade: A
DOON DOON DOOT DOON DE DOOT DOOT! SUPER MARIO RPG is a CLEAR CUT EXAMPLE of how
great RPGs are. Back in the day you never thought MARIO would be involved in an
RPG... UNTIL THIS GAME CAME OUT, and claimed the right as not only one of the
best MARIO GAMES of all time, but one of the best RPGS of all time as well!
Super Mario World- Fun: - Gameplay: - Graphics: - Value: - Sound: Grade:
Super Mario World, one of the best Mario games known worldwide as well for SNES.
This is also featured on the Gameboy Advance's "Super Mario Advance 2"
version, so it's relatively even more known than most of the games!
