Who is Garfield? Garfield is that super fat, lazy, cynical and world loved cat that made his comic debut on June 19th, 1978! The original comic as you can see from below.

A fine start to a GREAT long term series of comics! Garfield has never once had a dull comic written, never once have I seen a bad one, EVER.

FAVORITE GARFIELD COMIC OF MOMENT:

The comic Garfield is without a doubt a worldwide known name and the creation of Jim Davis is right up there with Peanuts by Charles Schultz. But how can a big, fat, lazy, cynical cat who beats down on the family dog, eats loads of food, sleeps all the time, and barely has a single care in the world be so popular? BECAUSE IT'S SO FUNNY! Jim Davis's creation is reviewed by each comic he writes, each has it's different element of humor. Whether it's insulting Jon Arbuckle , beating up or insulting the household dog Odie , eating his favorite foods such as Lasagna, on a date with Arlene , or playing with his most precious treasure Pooky , Garfield is always Garfield.

Garfield sure does love himself, except when he is on a diet that is! One thing is for sure, with Garfield life never has a dull moment with the most famous cat in comic history!
