Ax Battler the Barbarian

Weapon: Broad Sword

Ax Battler is the average of the game, but also the worst out of the three just like in Golden Axe II. His technique isn't bad, but he is extremely slow and has his half like magic, he has no specific STRENGTH, but his power is better than Tyrus'. He is best to use for veterans.

Tyrus Flare the Amazon

Technique: B

Weapon: Long Sword

Tyrus is the second best character in game! She has the best magic, good technique, good speed. Her power is the lowest, but she is still very good and quick. She is good to use for those who are warming up to Golden Axe but have played it before.

Gilius Thunderhead

Magic: C

Technique: A

Weapon: Battle Axe

Gilius Thunderhead... best character of the game. Not because of his worst magic, but by his best technique and best power of the game. He is also incredibly fast, he basically has everything you need overall except for magic which is mainly used for emergencies. Gilius is the best character in the game, great for beginners to use.
