Characters

In Golden Axe II, like in the first game, there are the three original characters to choose from. The leader of the group, the Barbarian Ax Battler, the beautiful Amazon Tyrus Flare, and the old yet great Dwarf Gilius Thunderhead. Stat rankings will be in an A, B, C ranking for their "Power", "Magic", "Speed", and their "Technique" which is their fighting style. Also their weapon will be listed.

Weapon: Broad Sword

Ax Battler is quite the average fighter, his magic is second best of all the three. His technique is good, weapon is Broad Sword. He is quite quick also, like all are in Golden Axe II. You got to love Ax Battler! However, he is the worst of the three overall.

Tyrus Flare

Speed: A

Magic: A

Technique: B

Weapon: Long Sword

Tyrus Flare is the second best character in the game, and her magic is the most powerful as well, for she can summon the mighty Fire Phoenix! Anyway, she uses a Long Sword and can jump the highest of all the characters, and is overall better than Ax Battler.

Gilius Thunderhead

Speed: A

Magic: C

Technique: A

Weapon: Battle Axe

To be perfectly honest, other than his magic being the weakest, I just am so surprised Gilius is once again the strongest/fastest and the best out of all the characters. He once again can beat everyone the fastest, doesn't really need to rely on magic, is strong and really fast with his axe! Gilius Thunderhead is the best character of Golden Axe I and II.
