Stages

Here are the stages in Golden Axe II! Difficulty ratings are 1 to 10, 10 being the hardest.

#1 Village

The village is not too difficult, a few wizards are around here and you have to kill some of the clan's evil troops, and then the boss Minotauros! Difficulty: 1

#2 Cliffs

The cliffs are where Skeletons are introduced >_< which are some of the best non bosses to face due to their high HP and speed. Other than that, you also face a brutal Knight boss here, but you can get him! Difficulty: 4

#3 Tower

Not too difficult, you face a few wizards/enemies and some Minotaurs. Careful that you do not run off of the cliff however. You face three purple Lizardmen which can be a pain if you do not have any speed or magic, be careful. Difficulty: 3

#4 Mountain 'Dragon's Throat'

God you got to hate this place. The black skeletons are all over and they're PUMMELING. There's even the purple Lizardmen who you fought as bosses in the Tower here also and a few usual purple troops. There are two purple Minotaurs here as bosses along with two minion Red Lizards, this is one tough stage. Difficulty: 6

#5 Castle Gate

Not as difficult as Dragon's Throat. Despite this, we are nearing the final battle! Lizards and troops all over this stage. Also a lot of wizards are here, which will most likely fill up your magic book vial up all the way! Then there are the Minotaurs who you fought at Dragon's Throat who you must defeat! The boss is one HUGE Purple Knight who has a hell of a lot of hp and power! Be careful when engaging him. I suggest using all your magic on him then pounding him! Now, after you beat him, pending on what mode you chose such as easy, you will not be able to progress to Stages 6 and 7 unless you played either Normal or Hard. But onto the next stages... Difficulty: 5

#6 Castle

Hereeee we are!! At the castle, ready to beat all the evil, this is also part of the stage that THE DUEL mode is played in. A heck of a lot of troops as usual. However, there are also Minotaurs that come out of gates and then darned Pink Skeletons which can brutalize you due to there being three of them at once. Time to fight DARK GULD HIMSELF! He's basically like most of the headless Knights, use the same strategies you would usually use against him and he will fall!  Difficulty: 8

#7 The Fight

DEATH ADDER HAS RETURNED!!! You thought he died eh? Well you were wrong! He is very much alive and at last we see the great Golden Axe being used, by an evil force! We must stop him! He has a huge amount of HP and takes forever to kill even with Gilius, I suggest dash slashing him alot and keep pressuring him so he does not get his skeletons to attack. After you defeat him, the game is over and you have won! Mega music I should add in this battle. Difficulty: 9
