Golden Axe III... what an incredible end to the Golden Axe series. Gilius is retired, but is the one who frees one of the four *who you choose* who must save the others who have been cursed by the Prince of Darkness who ALSO has the Golden Axe! The land is in peril once again, and it is up to you to save it for the third time.

Interestingly enough also, Ax Battler, who was once the worst out of the original three is now the BEST overall out of ALL the four new characters, even in TECHNIQUE! Many more stages, a lot more action, equal magic vials, new magic itself, new enemies and two new Golden Axe partners, can you save the land the third and final time?

We shall not forget the legacy of Golden Axe!
