My Note

Here it is, my famous MY NOTE section about LOTR!

Lord of the Rings... I first saw it near when it came out. Yes, a trilogy of Christmasses as I call it. I first saw The Fellowship on Xmas of 2001, then saw The Two Towers on Xmas of 2002, then at last, I saw my favorite movie of all time, THE RETURN OF THE KING on Xmas of 2003.

We all know me and what I like, medieval combined with mystical thrill. But what made LOTR just so great other than it's legacy with the books? The movies were directed perfectly, everything was just so "right" for this movie. There is no doubt that this is "as it was", in the books, and that is not always easy to do, show exactly in a movie what it was like in books.

Elves, Hobbits, Dwarves, Humans, yes yes... remind you of anything? AGE OF WONDERS perhaps for PC? Definitely, I was so surprised when I watched LOTR, and how I felt the similarties of the game of Age of Wonders.

So what's the point? Basically if you have not watched LOTR, you missed out on a great experience. A friend of mine who never concentrates on movies right and does not like them very much saw the Fellowship for the 3 hours, ... AND HE NEVER TOOK HIS EYES OFF OF IT.

If you are one of the many who have NOT seen LOTR however, the good news for you is the legacy of the movies is not DYING ANYTIME SOON, in fact I think it will be like 10 years until it's popularity begins to fold... SO GO BUY IT FOR DVD! I am sure you will enjoy it.
