How to Play

Alright, here's my basic information on how to play Marvel V.S. Capcom, if you're reading this section I assume you're a beginner so I'll make it as easy to understand as possible... I admit, I'm not even an expert, here's the basic move list that I can offer you... there are many more move listings that you can find online, arcade moves are not my speciality.

C-Crouching

J-Jump

S-Standing

B-Back

DB-Down Back

DF-Down Forward

F-Forward

U-Up

UB-Up Back

UF-Up Forward

D-Down

R-Right

L-Left

WP-Jab

I'm sure you can figure out the rest for yourself, it's not hard to learn them, in the mean time... let's say we placed two quarters in the machine, and PREPARE TO PLAY!

Alright, first off, if you're playing the computer... the characters you fight will be lined up one by one until the final boss, ONSLAUGHT, who I have yet to beat... let's choose ... SPIDERMAN AND VENOM!

Once you choose your group, a randomized Special Partner screen comes up, pressing a button will determine which it will land on *special character roulette as I call it* and some of them suck, while a few of them can be useful... either way, their attacks can be blocked or in battle you can even knock them out, their usage is limited in combat so be aware of that.

Then choose your modes, I personally choose easy and NORMAL, turbo... forget about that for now. ONWARDS WITH OUR OPPONENTS TO THE RIGHT SCREEN.

ZANGIEF V.S. MEGAMAN, LET'S DO IT! >:O

First they do their voice and pose, then prepare for battle... you've got your score on the top which I really don't care for score, your life, your teammate's life, and your enemy's life to the right side, along with your special partner's usage stats below the life lines... and finally, the HYPER COMBO LEVEL BARS on the bottom, which is VERY IMPORTANT for setting up a hyper combo to bash the crap out of your opponent. Each character has different combos/moves and hyper combos naturally, this isn't just punch punch kick kick of course.

Immediately charging in, I use hyper combo to beat the crap out of Megaman, he shouldn't try that again!

WEB THROW, hilarious to watch Spiderman stick any character and then hurl them to the corner, dealing brutal damage.

Megaman is down from another one of my hyper combos, here comes ZANGIEF, let's change to VENOM!

The moment Zangief rushes up I change characters as Venom jumps in with a kick, sending Zangief right into the canvas.

Ack, just took a whipping from Special Agent character... he looks familiar doesn't he ;) the battle commences...

When you finish off the last enemy with a hyper combo, it will state what the title is called, as your character will then make his/her/it's victory pose, and be victorious! 

"WE WANT TO EAT YOUR BRAIN!!!"-Venom.

And many more battles approach! That should start you off nicely on how to play MvC!
