Greetings.

A lot of people are wondering... who is Monk and how did he get his start?

Adrian Monk was once a upcoming in the police force, solving very hard cases in the most unusual ways. However, after his wife was killed in a car bomb *WHICH IS STILL UNEXPLAINED IN THE SHOWS!* the devastated Adrian turns obsessive compulsive, he develops a fear for several things and loses his job. He had no choice but to hire a nurse, Sharona Flemming, who I cannot believe they took out of the show, which is the second best character of the series. They introduced a new nurse also known as Natalie Teeger. Monk is now a private consultant to the police and his former boss calls him on several occasions to let him share his outlook on all these crime scenes... which is how the shows usually are played out.

How many seasons has the show gone running?

Ever since 2002, and three seasons so far, many more upcoming.

Why did Sharona leave the show?

To move to New Jersey to marry her ex-husband.

What is Adrian's wife's name?

Trudy.

Do you think Monk the show will become better in the upcoming seasons?

It's always possible, I feel this show can just get better although I wonder if we will tire of just watching the obsessive compulsive Monk do what he does all the time... the same way, and always usually right... unless there's some major changes with characters *maybe a new nurse again, lol*.

It's a good show though, right?

Definitely, I sure love it more than Law and Order.
