This is quite a huge section! Like Shadowrun!

Like Shadowrun, Pirates! Gold has a hell of a lot of details, values and things to do/accomplish. Not to mention there are WAYS in accomplishing them, and on different terms as well, so I like detailing every possible option and assistance I can lend to the public in playing this magnificent game.

23rd best game of all time, when did you first play Pirates! Gold?

The Sega Channel days of 1996/1997, and let me tell you... finding a Pirates! Gold cartridge is nearly as hard as finding a Rings of Power cartridge!!

Pirates! Gold... does it have fun value?

YES, a LOT of fun. You can explore the whole map, choose which nationality to side on, what your captain's name and difficulty rate is, and choose what ships you can have in your fleet. You can choose who you attack, siege enemy towns, not to mention looting the enemy ships and towns! If your crew is strong enough, you can even get NEW TOWNS for your nationality, and after you finally retire you will be ranked in the Pirates! Gold ranking system and placed in the Hall of Fame with your rank and score.

How about CONTROL? You have always said control in your doings is very valuable in games.

Yes that is correct, and Pirates! Gold actually has a lot of value, even in a brutal fencing match that seems tough.

Fencing can turn the tide of battle if you defeat the enemy captain with many troops early, right?

Yes, and it also matters what difficulty you placed your Captain on in the beginning of the game. I would not suggest anything higher than apprentice if you're first starting out in Pirates! Gold, for it can get a bit toughy. You can even get thrown into a storm and lose your actual destined path and sink into the ocean if you are not careful!

Sounds spooky, is Pirates! Gold worth buying?

Absolutely, online is the only place you will probably find it however. Basically, that's what you should do... make sure you get it in good condition too, I've seen some that are not in great condition like many cartridges.
