Fencing

Well here we are, my favorite thing to do in Pirates! Gold and perhaps one of the most unique things to do as well, not to mention one of the most frequent. Fencing can be very simple, and at times a little tough. Fencing in town sieges and ship battles are judged by your quick ability to beat your captain, and pending on who is winning the duel will inspire morale of the troops and be the ones who are losing troops. Now... if you run out of troops, one slash can instantly kill you and place you in jail! If your enemy runs out of troops, if you hit him once you can instantly win, even if he was about the land the final blow!

Rapier is the smoothest weapon and the quickest also being the weakest, while the long sword is the average of all the blades and has some power behind it, but is still slow to me. The Cutlass is like a huge knife at your enemy's neck, a few slashes and he will be defeated, but it's VERY SLOW. Also, imagine at "poor" health using a Cutlass, I THINK NOT!! Always use the Rapier, now... ONTO USING YOUR CAPTAIN IN DUELS!

A Button- Thrust

B Button- Slash

C Button- Block/Swirl Blade

Using combos is nice, but your enemy with a rapier can turn the tide of battle if you are not careful...

If you win, congratulations! But if you lose....
