The Skills

Also known as your Captain's special ability, you choose this when you start out in the options section. This will boost your captain in a certain ability that will make him much better in that catergory! Here are the five skills!

FENCING- This will increase your Captain's fencing ability, his vitality and damage in fencing combat. I am to presume it also makes his speed go up as well, but not much. Fencing is the second best skill to have.

MEDICINE- To me, the most important skill of all. This will make your captain be able to heal his wounds from combat easier and his health will stay stronger throughout the years! In short, Medicine is THE BEST!

NAVIGATION- Navigation is good if you are exploring a lot, but it doesn't do THAT much good.

GUNNERY- The worst move, if you aim right and hit your ships, it should not be too difficult in beating them.

WIT AND CHARM- Ahh, nice and "fun" for those who like getting wives and being a diplomat in the Governor's good graces!
