Alis Landle, brother of Nero Landle who is the main character of Phantasy Star I. She has the highest amount of HP in the game, and has some of the best attacking powers too. Her spells <even at the beginning of the game> are quite useful. She is the wielder of the Elsydeon, the best sword of the game that only she can use...

Myau the Meek, whom you find early in the game and a vital member of your party. He dodges and evades attack with ease, and has some good attack power too. 

Odin the Warrior, does NOT have the highest amount of HP in the game, but can use a huge vareity amount of items. He is best used with an axe however, and he is one brute warrior when it comes to defense and damage. He has no magic ability, but he does not need any.

Noah the Esper, the magic user of the game, do not bother even trying to make him physically attack anyone or thing in battle. Let him focus on the spells and magic casting, for that is all he is best for.
