Characters

Rolf  Main character of the game, and most powerful in overall abilities among all. He can use knives/daggers and SWORDS! He has the best magic as well, Rolf is the best! Job: Agent

Nei Best friend and most trusted partner of Rolf, she is a good attacker and has low defense. She is quite helpful and to me is one of the best healers in the game, like Amy. I like her also because of her double attacks with dual bars. Job: None

Rudo With the exception of Rolf, Rudo is the most powerful in HP/Vitality and strength out of ALL you will get. Rudo can use all the guns in the game, and will destroy anything in your path. Job: Hunter

Amy You get her a little later in the game, and she is quite helpful in her magic! Better than Nei in magic and much more VAST in it, the best healer you will get. Terrible HP, keep her at the end of your party line. Job: Doctor

Hugh Hugh is the worst character in the game. Terrible stats, terrible equipment, terrible skills/spells, terrible character. NEVER USE HIM! Job: Biologist

Anna Anna is great. Great offense, reminds me of a female Rudo. She has overall good stats too! Fighting robots is tough for her, plus her techniques are terrible. However, she still is great for massive attacking. Job: Guardian

Kain Though I hate Kain and he's annoying, he is the best thing you can get other than Rudo in fighting Robots. Being a Wrecker, he has robot fighting techniques/skills that will REALLY assist you when fighting them. Job: Wrecker

Shir Shir is BRUTALLY underrated in many Phantasy Star sites I have seen when they rank her. She is basically a duplicate of amy in FIGHTING, but she has GREAT OFFENSIVE techniques, and can steal THE BEST ITEMS that will REALLY ASSIST you in the gameplay of Phantasy Star II! Such great techniques, like a wizard!! I also like her because she takes no orders from anyone and follows her heart, a great character. Job: Thief
