Phantasy Star II, the first Phantasy Star on Sega Genesis eh?

Yes, it is a true pity that Sega never put Phantasy Star I on the Sega Genesis itself, it would have made them quite a remarkable profit.

Other than that, what is Phantasy Star II about?

You play Rolf, an Agent working in the town of Piaso, who has been ordered to retrieve the recorder from the Bio chemical lab, which will give information about why Mother Brain who governs the earth has been going amuck.

How is the system itself?

Though not as flashy as Phantasy Star IV or as enjoyable as Phantasy Star III, it has a powerful insight to the fun value when your characters get strong and when you level up!

Does the game have in your eyes, a fun value and perhaps a difficulty value?

DEFINITELY having both, it BEFUDDLED people with it's incredible about of PUZZLES and mazes, and it is heralded as a classic.

When was it made?

1989!!! QUITE an old game, 15 years old!! FIFTEEN YEARS!

WOW, that's long.

INCREDIBLY long, a LOT of my life! Anyway... point being, it was coming off of Phantasy Star I's hype due to it being the SEQUEL, but I personally do not think it was as good as anticipated, but not as black sheep as Super Mario II was.
