Hints + Tips

Welcome to the Hints and Tips section of Phantasy Star IV. Sure plenty of people can play games throughly without information, but sometimes there are things that you can know before an event happens to enhance your success in the game, these are Hints and Tips! An example is to un-equip Alys of all her gear before she is hit by the Black Wave of Zio so you have that equipment to sell, because it will go with her!

LEVEL 99 GLITCH- Getting a character to level 99 will glitch your characters and send them very low stats/mods or even at some ways, very high. For example, Demi could have 99 mental while she only has 0, worthless actually while Rune's Legeon and Efess can no longer be casted! Probably should not level your chars up to lvl 99, but this is just madness on how you cannot level up to 99, the only disappointment of PS IV is this. I'm still working on somehow to combat this glitch, if you agree that it is bad, IM me sometime and we'll talk about it.

MUSIC- After you have beaten the game once by slaying the Profound Darkness, hearing the ending... at the menu where Start/Continue is, press B, and you will be able to play all the tunes in PS IV to listen to!
