My Note of Phantasy Star IV

PHANTASY STAR IV... PHANTASY STAR IV... one of the most MEMORIAL Games to me in my entire gaming career, other than Rings of Power, Phantasy Star IV was what ELETRIFIED my love for RPGs.

THE START OF PHANTASY STAR IV... Obviously AW 2284 is the year, the planet of Motavia, one of the two final remaining planets in the Algo System is suffering from severe soil trouble, violent monster outbreaks, and even more troubles ahead for the world, many wonder how this is going to end. This game puts you in the control of a group of people, the main character being Chaz Ashley, partner of the Alys Braigwin who are comissioned on a job to help the town of Piata, the town of learning who are having trouble with a monster infestion. But as the day goes on, more clues are unraveled creating a complex adventure for the group, as before you know it you will be travelling through the world and perhaps even outside of Motavia itself.

The battle system of PS IV will always be cherished and remembered. Spell casting, major attacking, seeing the characters actually attack, in PS I and III you were unable to actually see your characters doing a single attack! But in PS II you got to see someone actually slash and hack an enemy. HOWEVER, in PS IV they really make it way more clear and animated! Chaz slashing down a Locust, Rune using Hewn on a Locust, all pictured above... and that's just the beginning of PS IV let me tell you. The storyline is quite long and in depth, many things you must accomplish and accomplish them well!
The town systems and
caves/underground areas and even castles you will explore are very well
designed, as well as the battle scenes! I am so impressed by this game,
including the fine shop system. It's quick and direct, very very good!

Usually in most towns and areas there will be those specific icons on certain buildings, the first one is Weapons and Armor, usually there will be two people selling separate armor and weapons, while sometimes there is even one person selling armor and weapons. Then there is the item shop where one person is selling healing items which you WILL NEED NO MATTER WHAT, and then one of the most vital shops ever, the Inn. Chars dying, poisoned, injured, not know what to do? It's simple, go to the inn to sleep and BOOM they are all FULLY HEALED! Incredible system PS IV has.
The world maps are very
nice to look at, Motavia which has all sand land as well as desert and a large
ocean, you will notice there is barely any green in the map such as forest,
maybe some but barely any. Point being though, beautiful if you are going by the
colors that the Sega Genesis could handle for this game and what it could
produce.
PS IV with no doubt is a game that will always and shall always be remembered by all the fans of the 1994, and we will always remember it due to it being on GameAmazon. PS IV... without a doubt, earning it's spot on GameAmazon Sega Genesis list... bless it :).
