News: The Rings of Power page is done! This may be a tough game if you played it, but do not give up! It takes weeks to learn how to even move your main character for some people.

WELCOME TO THE RINGS OF POWER GAME PAGE! This is my FAVORITE Sega Genesis game of all time, it is rated MA-17, probably because it is the LARGEST and TOUGHEST game on the Sega Genesis system. I must tell you all that once again, the midi file on this page takes a little time to download. I am also sorry to say that I lost alot of my game files when my computer had crashed a few weeks ago, which means my pictures are not very advanced in the game. I apologize, but I will continue playing it and will continue taking pictures.

Description of Game: This is my FAVORITE RPG game out of ALL the RPGS ever made. It is a VERY TOUGH game though. There are many puzzles, hard control and hard gameplay. That is probably why it was rated MA-17.

INFORMATION: Alright... here is the information about the game. 

THE BEGINNING

In the world of Ushka Bay... once a dark world, the sun only shore above the people of this world... then, NEXUS, the holy god arrived... bringing with him the Golden Age. Many years passed, he gifted with each man, woman, and child a gift of one of the six arts... 

Sorcerers,

Knights,

 Archers,

 Necromancers,

 Enchanters,

 and Conjurers.

 Nexus used his mighty hand, and his grand Rod of Creation to restore the world.

Red Priests were Nexus' servants... life was good.

The demon VOID brought an end to the Golden Age. He stole the precious Rod of Creation... creating what the people of that world know called the "Cataclysm", a reign of terror that lasted 66 long terrible years. 

VOID's servants were the dreaded Black Priests, who were powerful, they even had some powers of Necromancy!

AT LAST, Nexus appeared, he formed an army and attacked the mighty VOID.

The two fought a titanic battle, which both their might split the rod in half. Each fled with half, and later... they each divided their rod into what we know today as ... "The Rings of Power".

500 years have past, and the Rings of Power have now said to be just a legend.

You are Buc, a young sorcerer who studies Sorcery under Master Thalmus, who is said to be the greatest Sorcerer in their world at the time. Thalmus thinks of you as the smartest, and most talented out of all his students. I suggest to you to beware, the other students may be nice at first... but they may eventually not be so nice any longer if they find any rings. This is where the game starts out...

My Personal Opinion: Like I said, this is my favorite game of ALL RPGS I EVER PLAYED. Actually... so far, IT IS MY FAVORITE VIDEO GAME I EVER PLAYED! Perfect game, it was unbelievable that it all was able to transfer and play on the Sega Genesis, that game should have been on the SNES or another higher system. This game never got the respect it deserved though. The people who made this game, the still functioning "NAUGHY DOG" ... clearly underestimated their work with this game.

Additional Information: Alright... now, here is some information. My suggestions are these. Be careful, travel by day. Travel at night when you and your group are strong like in the levels of five and six. Always have food and water available to you, even if you are low on gold and want to buy new spells for your characters. You must have food and water, otherwise you may get stuck somewhere without a general store, and your group will weaken without the supplies. Travel smart with plenty of supplies such as food, water. When you see buildings, always go inside them to explore. However, be sure to save the game though, the buildings or the people inside them may not be happy to see your characters. BE CAREFUL. Do not get cocky if you are slashing down opponents, make sure you buy spells for your characters only when you have enough gold. Always open chests at towns and buildings. The people may think of you worse, but you can always go to the Goverment Center and bribe the mayor a few ten or twenty gold pieces so the people will think of you even better than before.

*Appears* hisss... do not lissssten to the foolisssssh Red Priesssssstt!!... He will fill your head with liessss about Void! Do not fight against usssss... join ussss you will never win!

You dare enter the Temple of Nexus?! You must be punished!!

The Red Priest sends a long beam of light at the Black Priest!

Hiss...s...... I am dying..... arrgh..... Nexusss.... will never reign this world again..... ev..er..... hisss...... you all will feel PAIN OF VOID... ....

The Black Priest dies!

You must prepare for Black Priests to speak that way to you when you gather the Rings on your quest! They will try to tell you that Void will reward you. He will do nothing of the kind, I must tell you! Every day that goes by Void comes closer to find one of the rings! You must hurry and stop him!

The Red Priest speaks the truth... Black Priests WILL try to bribe you into joining them when you meet with them! You must be careful, now go play Rings of Power! If you want to buy the game, go to some gaming stores that sell older video games, cartridges are getting very rare.
