So... Romance of the Three Kingdoms III, one of the best games of all time and also as you have said, one of most ADVANCED games for the Sega Genesis?

INDEED, advanced as far as Sega games go, ... heck, as far as GAMES go. To play ROTK III is quite a challenge, there is much to manage and much to defend, way more than even the new KOEI games such as Dynasty Tactics/Warriors.

But ROTK III for Playstation2 is more advanced, correct?

Of course, but in some ways it is not. ROTK III for Sega, you have to build every little thing. It has similarities, but ONE mistake could lead you to disaster. There are so many sorts of strategies available to you from spying to bribing to waging war, building your land, and more.

So ROTK III for Sega is definitely worth playing?

Only to those who like strategy, the game can be very overwhelming and difficult at times. Other than that, yes it is worth playing or at least trying, but I DOUBT you could find a cartridge of it today in any stores.

As understood, ROTK III was made by Koei, who also makes the Dynasty games on Playstation2, just like Naughty Dog who made Rings of Power, right?

Yes that is correct. Unlike Naughty Dog however, Koei continued on with their main theme with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms characters, and now you see it has turned into a huge Playstation2 game frenzy.

Why is ROTK III for Sega so worth preserving?

For a game that is so strategically tough, along with a hell of a lot of fun if you learn the game, the things you can do with your characters makes you enjoy having your own little... or should I say large empire.
