DIABLO II OLD SCAMMER SECTION!

LATEST SCAMMER THAT HAS OFFENDED GUILD MEMBERS:

ACCOUNT:SLIDER60, HACKED MEMBER ARC_KNIGHT OF HIS ACCOUNT BY ARC FALLING FOR THE DND SCAM HACK AND THEN DELETING ALL HIS CHARS! PATHETIC, SLIDER60 YOU'RE IN TROUBLE NOW!

DR_SHOCK2... guild member was hacked by typing his password in the /dnd scam trick which is how people can whisper you and see that you typed in your pass if you fell for the "Find out your Rank trick", NEVER TRUST ANYONE WHO ASKS IN ANY WAY TO BREAK INTO YOUR ACCOUNT! EVER!

Me confronting the hacker on Dr_shock's account, noticing that his barb is empty proving that he was robbed and emptied, later the hacker admitted he hacked and robbed the chars, and then left saying he was now deleting the characters, I will never forget this scammer, I'm gathering information on him also from the dnd rank hack and I'm going to demand satisfaction!

I have been scammed 66 times in total now for rushing someone who claims they will give an item such as Enigma, High Rune, Chains of Honor, GF, 290, etc... after Act 3 while they lie about it or such later on to leave to get it, so don't rush people who ask that 'cuz they never give! You might be thinking, PAULOS WHAT IS THIS PAGE ABOUT?! This is to explain about scammers on Diablo II LoD, and just plain Diablo II. We all need to know these things to survive on battle.net!

Let's start from the beginning... scamming is where people attempt to cheat/rob you out of items or your password on the actual game itself that you play. Battle.net is no exception, all multiplayer games have this problem, ALL. What can we do about it? Be informed about what people attempt to do before you get scammed, and by using some common sense, I have noticed alot of scams are all about common sense and realizing one thing... "NEVER" do "ANYTHING" someone else "TELLS YOU TO DO".

It's true honestly! For example, someone once told me to fill my inventory fill of Thawing pots for free Zod Runes, that person is setting up a Corpse Pop Scam *was in 1.09, I doubt it works now but just in case be wary*, meaning they are TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO in order to prepare a scam.

I have also noticed many games named GREEN BOX, DROP GAMES, I highly recommend do not deal with these people or ever throw your items down or do anything that they "TELL YOU TO DO", because it's true, they are not there to play fair, it is to get items!

Interesting enough, I have a full lined example here of a scam, of the afterview of it... here's what happened.

Since the ANNIHILUS cannot be traded in the trade menu or even shown, in order to trade it severe risk is required, by either throwing it down to someone you don't even know or throwing it down as the other person throws down their item to, unless you know the person well, it's very risky. So one of my members just tonight of 2/2/04... did this with someone, and was scammed brutally by the person taking the Stormshield my member was trading for the anni, as well as the anni! I invited the person to talk to me about it, to see if we could collect the anni or ss back, to have it fair.

Here's me on scene,... 11:31PM, I'm getting ready to have a nice few stalks of Broccli with milk while turning on my Age of Wonders game *YEA I'M PLAYING IT AGAIN!* and preparing my Halfling Hero to explore the map to defeat evil, as all of a sudden I get an IM from my member that he was scammed by the anni trick, and I was quite angry about it so I turned off AOW and went to the room it was stolen at.

Me asking our member the levels of the two people who stole the items, as I spoke to GENBU the THIEF, inviting him to a new room that I had just created to speak about it to see if we could be fair about it and get it back or work it out. As you see, Jeryn is even there on the scene of the crime, he is very angry about the matter and says Thor will be captured on site when he enters his fair port city again.

GENBU enters, also barbarian level 90 named GS_THOR and asked how I was and we talked briefly nicely for a moment, until I said the two quotes above in the screenshot. He immediately turned defensive, demanding he DID NOT commit the crime and accused our member Bone that Bone was lying about the whole scene, which I already knew it was not true.

Genbu shows his colors by stating a vulgar commit to me, again stating he knows nothing about the crime!

So next, I decide to test if he really did the crime and also perhaps test any honor he may have in a bargain which I already doubt will fail, but to see how it goes. I offer him a bargain, if he defeats me in a 1v1 duel he will get a Tals Armor, if I win I get the SS, and he AGREED.

After that, we have a long whirlwind duel, I was having some trouble due to using Enigma which I have determined is not as good as Arkaines Valor, but after some trouble I finally maintain my grip and...

As you see, he is slaughtered as a Fallen walks up all angry about Thor killing his friend that is laying right next to him, as I demand the ss, moment later knocking down the Fallen with one thrust.

After my win over him, he demands a 1v1 melee duel, I say he is a cheat and a liar as we flare and I decide to do it again to see furthermore his guilt, and he was sure proving himself on it.

I am angry at the time after he refuses to pay up for the first duel, as he demands 1v1 melee again, so I accept it after I am angry.

So, Cs_Thor falls in a 1v1 melee with me, as his companion admits that my fight against him was very well done.

AND HE PROVES HIS COLORS AS HE STATES HE WILL NOT GIVE THE SS OR ANNIHILUS BACK, AS HE SAYS IN THAT PICTURE "WE" HAVE A FREE SS!!! MEANING HE "DID" STEAL IT AND HE IS THE MASTERMIND OF THE CRIME EVEN WITH THE FAIR BARGAIN WE MADE!!!

I go nuts on him outside with wwing him to death, as he runs off into town, only to leave.

Another vulgar insulting term he blurts out, as the SS stealer runs out of the room, without honor and beaten, his only sick comfort in knowing he gained a SS by his terrible theft scam. 

I say to Bone that I was sorry that I failed in gaining any items back to him, as he comforts me in saying...

Go by this section. State it clearly through your mind, read every word, go back and fourth then come here, and realize to yourself. Who won here tonight? Who gained the deed of honor tonight? Who was wrong here tonight? The thief or the patriot? God damn the scammers and thieves of battle.net, but THIEVES WHO DARE STEAL FROM MY GUILD AND INNOCENTS SHALL NOT GO UNPUNISHED, TO THIS I STATE ON THIS NIGHT.

We speak about honor, the guild, and our partnership and glory on how vengence was ours despite the loss of his item... 

Bone and me speak again about how he was foolish to steal and how someday he will regret it to himself, or just be sick enough to be enthralled with himself on his terrible sin. Let him forever boil in his own oil with only thieves for friends and companions of malice.

CS_THOR, ACCOUNT: GENBU, want someone to kill? You angry that Bone lost his SS and that Genbu broke his word's deal to me abou the SS? There he is for you.

Me telling the scammer after act 2 that he better pay the item as he said he would after act 3!

So, another scammer gains from a terrible lie and I laugh and bash him, as I leave, telling him how pathetic he is.
