Scams

Now... we all know that people can scam, but scams have gotten so popular on battle.net that some even have names! I will also be listing popular hacks/bugs and more here!

#1- Annihilus Scam-Explanation: Act 1 and Act 2 trick. Annhilus the small unique charm that drops off of Diablo Clone acts as a Quest Item like Mephisto's Soulstone. Now... you cannot make a successful trade due to unable to be placing it up in the trade menu. Therefore in order to trade it, you must risk throwing your item down on the wall near Akara or in the palace with Jeryn... and I PERSONALLY SUGGEST DO NOT TRY. You can easily be scammed at the palace because if you see the person throw down his item he was trading you and you throw down your anni, you can run to the downstairs only to find he picked up the item, then TOOK YOUR ANNI AND LEAVES THE ROOM!! This can also work in the opposite direction by you doing the same thing, but it's dangerous... NEVER TRADE ANNIHILUSSES WITH STRANGERS!

#2- DUPE SCAM-Explanation: Two people will be in the room already, 3 player max room... the first person will go on the side of the wall outside of act 1, as you will be in the inside, as the first person will act like he's the one who can dupe your item for you. Now, the second person will drop an item and then pretend to listen to the first person's instructions, only to throw down a second item to pretend it got duped! The point of this is they're DELIBERATELY attempting to make YOU drop it! Here's a pic of their defensiveness when I find out they lie, when I throw down a 4 to 17 dmg blade to dupe it, which it won't be because he knows I know it's a scam!
