Villages

Seven Kingdoms... in order to have an established empire, you must have a village. In fact, honestly you must have two villages... perhaps even three, or four, or possibly even five. To be perfectly frank, you would do well with about fifty villages. How to get them though? We already know how to lower their resistance by placing a general with high leadership of the village's nationality and bribe them until they surrender to your rule... HOWEVER, you can do it in other ways as well other than just using money on it.

Yes my fine city... I call it a city of my many villages in my Norman area. Rouen is my main village, ahh yes... there is 60 population, yet only 30 peasants. Wish to know? Good!

Peasants are not idle villagers but can be recruited or trained, however they have an important mission. Bringing food to your empire!!!!!! I always recruit one village in the beginning of the game and IMMEDIATELY settle a second village so it will immediately begin bringing new villages there. Also you will gain more villagers by independents joining you when your REPUTATION grows.

King Konan has done well for himself, as well as clearing all his enemies thirteen years ago with fine diplomacy of them surrendering to his might! Your reputation means a lot of things, how well enemy kingdoms will react to you, alliances/treaties and how they may FEAR you as well.

Now villages are also where your WORKERS of your buildings live, such as the Factory, Tower of Science, Mine and etc. That is their residence! Worker fees are not bad either, all is well with this game!

Looks like the Egyptians of Memphis need a little loyalty boost, that way you can grant them money to assist in their loyalty... but what if we tax them...?

Peasants can rebel, and form a Rebel Leader and KILL YOUR INNOCENT VILLAGERS WHO ARE STILL LOYAL TO YOU if you overtax them or if you do not have a sufficient ruler near them, destroy Rebels!!!!! Rebels usually are not too strong.

Villages... are truly fun to manage and has a large amount of things to accomplish in order to keep your empire well managed. Be aware and mindful. Good luck.
