Seven Kingdoms II: The Fryhtan Wars... there are plenty of things to know compared to gameplay in AA. Let me begin.
In AA, in order to move villagers to a far away village without the villager circulation bar available to a town that is linked with the other, you must click each villager off one by one, which lowers loyalty. HOWEVER, IN FRYHTAN WARS, there is a new villager moving function called a Wagon, which carries 10 villagers at once to another area! BE WARNED, the wagon is 200 HP, if it gets destroyed, all the villagers die in it! However, it can carry up to 10, which is a GREAT way of transportation and does not lower loyalty too much!
Killing Fryhtans increases your reputation, and killing civilians, enemy civilians even, having rebellions, breaking alliances, declaring war, all this lowers your reputation! It is best to have a good reputation, it will help form alliances, and make them STICK! Your enemies will fear you more, and so on!
I SHOULD ADD, a reputation gives you a possibility of gaining a HERO, which is a powerful unit of the nationality it belongs to. For example...
HERO
GERVAIS QUINCEY AT YOUR SERVICE, SIR!!! Also, unlike other units that
can only gain up to combat 200 naturally by fighting, some heroes have the
ability to go past 200, heck, I have seen some at 271! For an infantry unit, 502
HP is really high. Gervais shall now head to my personal King's fort to serve
and protect him!!!!!!
Another thing about heroes, some even have godly leadership,
and can get more. For example...
I just hired
the Mongol Hero Semujin, and he was definitely worth the $3,500. Look at his
Combat, but above all, look at his LEADERSHIP. He can train soldiers INCREDIBLY
well and powerfully. I will immediately name him a General and begin him as
training numerous of my other troops.
Heroes... are very valuable. I would not suggest sending them into a battle that you have a good chance of losing, remember even with the Scenario Editor, once a Hero dies in that scenario, you are not getting him back. I enjoy placing my heroes in my King's personal fort to protect him, and sending the high leadership ones to forts as Generals to train numerous troops. Be careful, this game can be brutal if you have not taken precautions to certain measures, I GUARANTEE you of THAT.
~SPECIAL UNITS~
Special units are very valuable, especially Calvary type who have way more HP than invantry!
Japanese for example whose
special unit building is Ninja Dojo, you can actually recruit them and KEEP the
Ninjas in there as they will train daily until you want them without an actual
mentor! Even their leadership grows, and you may notice their combat went up a
bit, that's because my Seat of Power enabled a miracle, which is a new feature
in Fryhtan Wars! You can have good happenings that can occur to your kingdom.
MASS HEALING, Gold, Artifacts, Technology Breakthroughs, Food gain, and people
in forts/special training unit buildings can increase incredibly in combat! In
my Ninja Dojo all units increased by 66 points, that's GREAT!
BWAHAHA, destroy those
Fryhtans!!!
