Super Mario Brothers... it's about time Paulos!!

Yes I know I know!! Har, Super Mario Bros on GameLegacies is truly a thrill!

So, to those who are perhaps into the newer Mario games or who have forgotten about the old NES Game Super Mario Bros or even perhaps never played or heard of it, care to explain?!

Har! Sure. Super Mario Bros was released in September of 1985... and boy what a grand year it was. Though the year I was born, I had played it five years later, but point being Super Mario Bros was the #1 game for the original Nintendo, which was being competed for by Legend of Zelda/Dunk Hunt/Godzilla and many other titles. However, Super Mario Bros was just plainly the best obviously by it's numerous levels, the enemies you had to defeat and evade, and all the huge amount of action binding of climbing cliffs, running, walking, jumping on enemies, running away from some, shooting Bowser to death with fireballs... god I love it.

Super Mario Bros is rated 12th on your best games of all time, due to it's legacy or gameplay?

I do not rate games by their legacies, example being Rings of Power who is #1. Super Mario Bros just has some flawless gameplay for one of the best games on NES.

For the record, what's the best game on NES?

Super Mario Bros 3.
