Super Mario II, black sheep of the Super Mario series because of...?

Popularity of society, JUST LIKE PHANTASY STAR III. It is COMPLETELY THE SAME EXAMPLE of why each have not gained the game they each deserve, EXACTLY the same, coming off of a big game only to end up being a bomb that people cannot understand or play right to get the full effect of the game.

Super Mario II, what's it about?

Mario strikes again against a new enemy, against Wart and his minions. He must save people from the evil Wart in this brand new world of adventure, and you get to use Mario, Luigi, Toad, and even Peach! Peach and Toad make their first character entrances in this game!

Is it fun?

DEFINITELY, it's a great time killer too, you can die a lot however and it can be quite difficult.

For a collector, should you collect it?

ALL Mario games should be collected. Case closed.

Is Super Mario II one of the best Mario games?

Of course, but not the best. Super Mario 64, SMRPG, SMB and SMB3 out rank it, but it's close at 13th!
