Hints + Tips

Here are some hints/tips you may find useful in your gameplay of Super Mario Bros. III.

Infinite 1-Ups
Get to World 1-2 as Raccoon Mario with the tail. Go to the hill at the beginning and jump over the horizontal pipe. Stand there for a bit and you will see Goombas walking out of the pipe.. Wait for about... 2-4 of them to come out of the pipe, then jump on to of one and then hold down a repeatingly to fly high into the air. With being in the air, use your tail to slowly glide down from the air as I told you how to. Now, when you are about to land, be sure to land on a Goomba nearby. Do this as much as possible, and eventually after 100, 200, 400, 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, then 8,000 will turn into 1-ups!

Different message from King

Be either Frog Mario, Tannooki or Hammer Mario and you will get a little bit of a different message from King when you complete the level.

The Warp Whistle Locations
Here are where the Warp Whistles are located at, each at a time.

Level 1-3
Find the white block near the end and crouch on to of it for about 7 seconds. Then rush to the back of the black background and keep running. Then you will get the whistle.

Level 1 Fortress
Fly over the top of the level when you find the first door with being Racoon Mario, then you will find a hidden door at the far right on the ceiling. Then press up to go into a room with a chest, open chest and you will receive the whistle!

Level 2 Hammer Brother
Get the Hammer from one of the Hammer Brothers here and use it to destroy the rock at the right corner of the Level 2 map near the Pryamid. Then you must fight the hammer brother on the other area. You shall get a chest with the whistle!
