Mario Golf, Tennis, even Racing seemed different from usual Mario games, however I think the most different and most INTERESTING was Mario RPG.
Paper Mario is overrated...
well it is! The sequel of Super Mario RPG is barely even a sequel to the
original story of SMRPG, not just of the MARIO system itself. Alas, that's how
Mario games are I suppose... Anyway, Super Mario RPG will definitely be always
cherished for what it did to RPGs, I think it may have helped Nintendo with
their RPGs, which in the past incredibly LACKED other than Dragon Warrior and
Final Fantasy.
