Hints/Tips + Codes
Here are some current codes I know for Streets of Rage III/more!
STREETS OF RAGE III CODES:
Stage Select
One of my favorite codes, hold b and up keys, then press start. The stage select now appears on your options screen!
Be able to play as Shiva
After defeating Shiva on the first stage, right when you land the last show, press B and Start and hold it down. Now you will be able to select as Shiva on the continue screen!
Be able to play as Roo
At the title screen, hold up and b combined, then press start. A new character named will now be able to be played.
2 Player Mode Play Same Character!
Hold down and C on controller #2 when you enter 2 player mode with controller #1.
EXTRA LIVES SELECT!
Go to your options screen and pick the lives option. Press and hold UP a/b and c on controller #2, now you can pick from 1 to 9 lives!
Press C to choose a player at the player screen, then quickly hold A and repeatingly sweep the D-pad in a clockwise circle until Super Axel appears. Then press A... very difficult to get this code to work from what I've seen.
STREET OF RAGE CODES:
Go to your main menu and then hold down the buttons a/b/c and right on controller two while going into the options on controller one/ With this you can now select how many lives you start with and another lovely thing you get to choose what round you start on!
STREET OF RAGE II CODES:
Go to the main menu. Hold down the a and b buttons on controller 2 while choosing options. You can now select choose the lives you start with, choose the stage you start on, and even and play at the Very Easy and Mania difficulty levels! Mania is insane!
At the title screen hold down Right and B on controller #1 and then hold left and a on Controller #2. Press C on Controller #2 with all other buttons still held down. Now both the two players can be the exact same character, like TWO MAXES or TWO AXELS!
