Greetings.

One of the biggest questions of fans who have played the Sega Genesis/SNES and Arcade version of Street Fighter II wonder... what was Street Fighter the first?

Street Fighter the first was an arcade game actually that was made in the late 80s, as then I presume it's popularity was high enough to make another arcade box ... which was known to us all then, and now as cherished as it is today... Street Fighter II.

When did Street Fighter II: The World Warrior/Special Championship Edition come out for arcade?

February 28th of 1991... in my younger days it was one of my the first games I ever actually PLAYED, AND it was the first actual arcade game I ever played. The championship edition came out in 1992, and I think the championship edition was one of the most arcade box games ever made in the entire world due to it's popularity.

When was your first experience at playing it?

At Philadelphia, at a Pizza Hut, when I was younger I saw the arcade box and got some quarters from parents while our pizza was cooking, as I went over and began playing. That arcade box ate a HELL of a lot of my quarters, though I sucked in the beginning, out of all the characters I felt most connected and comfortable with Chun Li.

People often wonder, who's the best character of Street Fighter II?

Well, Blanka's electric move really can make him invincible, but if Chun Li keeps throwing him around I would have to say Chun Li with her incredible leg moves and throw down move.

What is Street Fighter II about?

All around the world there are warriors, as each nation as chosen a warrior to enter the Street Fighter competition to see who is the best fighter of the marital arts. There's USA, China, Japan, India, Russia and more. The gameplay can either be against the computer, or perhaps the most enlightened mode, 2 player mode. ONE V.S. the other, as each will attack each other in two rounds until each loses!

Can you honestly say Street Fighter II is the best arcade box game ever?

Probably not the best fighter arcade box game, but one of the best and DEFINITELY the most POPULAR, that's all I can say.
