Information

When you start up Street Fighter II, you may not know where to begin. So here is some information to help you startup your Street Fighter II gaming!

After you see the famous one punch knockout of that poor blonde haired guy from the other blonde haired guy, this screen will pop up, followed by introductions of each character and battle demos. Let's now go into the game.

To those who are into Hyper/Turbo action such as in the arcades, the HYPER MODE has the same modes available for gameplay as Champion except it will be faster paced battles.

Going into the CHAMPION or HYPER screen will leave you with the three mode options which will be explained in the MODES SECTION. Let's go into GAME START!

Here pops up the famous screen with Ryu as the first character, and map of the world with the nations that are participating in the Street Fighter competition. Let's go through the list and pick Chun Li :)

In your matches, you will even fight a clone of your own character! The best way to beat your same style opponent to me is quite simple actually, use offense combined with defense for a strong neutral and never give your clone opponent any room.

After you choose Chun Li, the screen will show a plane moving from China to U.S.A. to face Ken the computer controlled opponent. Now the battle begins!

There begins the godly music, the godly tune, the godly stances and ROUND 1, FIGHT!!

As you see, with a tap of the button Chun Li pounds Ken with a slashing hand attack. Though there's a lot of moves available for use, I prefer combos in corners and throwing the enemies around. Beware, your enemies can do some devastating things to you as well!

Ken tosses Chun Li overhand and slams her into a barrel! What action!

While Ken attempts to rush Chun Li for a quick kill, she uses her famous brutal and repeating leg attack that never seems to stop kicking which is one of the cheapest moves and best moves in the game.

Dodging, blocking, and hitting is the key to victory against ever opponent! Also getting used to their style helps too.

ROUND 1 IS WON AND COMPLETE! Beware, Round 2 is next!

I've always noticed computer opponents come more into the open and are maybe a pint smarter in Round II that they have lost! Be defensive!

Block a lot! Blocking is important, will save you from brutal damage or from being cornered!

AND SO THAT ENDS THE MATCH, KEN HAS BEEN DEFEATED AND CHUN LI IS VICTORIOUS!

Each round victory will add up to your score pending on how much vitality your character had left and how long it took to beat your opponent.

After the battle, your victorious character will say something insulting to your bloody/beat up opponent, then onto the next battle. GOOD LUCK!
