What can you tell us about the film of The Shining?

Released in 1980, Jack Nicholson plays Jack Torrance, a recovering alcoholic/writer who was once a schoolteacher just to make ends meet. He takes on a job that requires 5 months of caretaking "The Overlook Hotel". This seemingly easy job shall play mind tricks on Jack, and his family will be the victims of his furies.

Will this be one of the best The Shining sources on the net?

Who wrote it?

Stephen King, as Stanley Kubrick directed it and was great at it!

The Shining, one of the best horror films ever?

You bet, sure sometimes you're not sure what's going on but that's what a mystery movie is all about. I would consider it a horror/mystery combo. I sure love it way more than films like SCREAM and such, I hate modern horror movies lol.

How about for age groups?

Only for people above 13-15, if even. It was rated R, and it was quite powerful in language/adult content/violence.
