Bring up the Cheat Box
At any time during the game, press Alt, C, Shift, and CTRL.

$1,000 Simoleans *PATCHED VERSION*
If you have The Sims version 1.1 or the 'klapaucius' code does not work, the code to get 1000 Simoleans is:
'rosebud' without the quotes. Type in ';!' without quotes as many times after that as you want to get more money, each '!' is worth the 1000 Simoleans. So, an example is rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!

At The Sims cheat box, enter klapaucius.
