FAQ

Uncharted Waters II... it is a reminder of Romance of the Three Kingdoms when you go by all the complexity in various forms that it provides in the actual gameplay. For example, some characters in Uncharted Waters II has a certain talent in a certain area, such as Joao Franco as a Fighter, Otto as a Fighter, Catalina as a Fighter, now the main three have talents and storylines are mainly about true fighting. Then there is Ernst Von Bohr who explores the world trying to make a map of the entire world, Pietro who is the best ADVENTURER out of the game, then there is the best in the Trading element, Ali. What does this have to do with the FAQ? Very simple.
In Uncharted Waters II starting out, you may not even know who to be, but I highly suggest as your first playing you use Joao or Catalina. A bit easier beginning, a more solid backup then all the other characters. However Ali Vendaz is the easiest to play out of the three more advanced characters.

I shall never forget when I first was entranced by the opening tune and faces of the characters. At first I was confused on who to be, and what would await me as I chose one specific character but I decided to be Joao, who must discover the Secret of Atlantis for his father, and gain experience as a Seaman. I personally enjoy Joao's storyline the most, not to mention even though everyone's story does end with a THE END, the fact is you can just keep avoiding your main goal by just destroying enemy fleets, such as Pirate fleets even when you are all maxed out, because the STAT system is interesting in this game, no HP or MP, more like natural given skills such as Strength, Courage, Body, Luck, and more.

This is your main character screen, showing his abilities, there are two screens to check of their stats. First, his Navigational Level which increases his ability to sail his Ship(s), Combat level which increases damage in battling and ship battling.

Navigational Level is extremely important for the sailor who travels the whole world, it's all about ability. By raising your skill that you wish to raise you must particpate/do/accomplish activities and things in the certain way that the attribute is performed in. For example, Courage/Swordsmanship you must defeat enemy fleets and pirates.
Gold Ingots
are the key to
your money success. While Gold Coins are the currency, Ingots equal up to 10,000
Gold Coins, making the system a bit easier to keep track of!
One of the hardest things for beginners to do is not only to excel at their character's storyline profession, along with the character's storyline, but to also just plainly SURVIVE. For every character to gain quick cash it is all about selling Art and Carpet from the two Turkish ports, Istanbul and Athens. It is extremely important that you make some ingots to keep supplying your ship!
