Trade
Alright! Trade is all about gaining items from foreign areas that specialize in a specific item, then finding the other port that needs that item most! However, in my travels of Uncharted Waters II, I have found the best trade route is from Istanbul *Turkish capital* to Athens *Neutral port*. But why? Not only is it the example that Trader Ali Vendaz makes his fortune from, but if you keep doing it you will be sky rocketed in money if you just keep doing it and doing it! Joao also has the special trading skill where he can negoiate prices, so Joao can start off making money there, but let's begin with Ali.

Buying Carpet per lot, I usually buy as much as I can after Ali has gained the money after many people in the town investing in him. Here is the point, what is he supposed to do? Buy as much Carpet as he can in Istanbul, but remember to just have enough food/water to be able to get to Athens. Remember, always REJECT the first price the trader tells you, then offer a low price as Ali will negoiate! Therefore it will work out better for you, as money will flow in when you sell Carpet in Athens. HOWEVER, you think you are done in Athens? Wrong, the best way for money to flow in faster is to buy Art at Athens then sail to Istanbul, sell the Art, buy Carpet, then sail back. Repeating the process over and over, you will have PLENTY, PLENTY of ingots.
That's basically all you really need with trading, you can trade in other lands too but it's not worth the travel or the prices, to me this trade route works just fine with all the ingots you can make.
